2 Degrees – Auckland

2Degrees have been fighting for fair since 2009 when they entered the New Zealand telco market, and recently they have been fighting for the well-being of their staff. With their new head office in Auckland, 2degrees are the first company in New Zealand to achieve WELL Certification at Platinum level under the WELL Building Standard V2 (WELL v2).

What is the WELL Building Standard?

The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) is leading the global movement to transform our buildings and communities in ways that help people thrive. The WELL Building Standard™ version 2 (WELL v2™) is a vehicle for buildings and organisations to deliver more thoughtful and intentional spaces that enhance human health and well-being. WELL applies the science of how physical and social environments affect human health, well-being and performance. Developed over 10 years and backed by the latest scientific research, WELL outlines key building-level and organisational strategies across 10 categories:

Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, Community, Innovation.

The role buildings can play in human health and well-being has never been more evident or more important. Billi has been formally affiliated with the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) as a Cornerstone member since 2019 and we are delighted to be partnering with 2degrees, providing their head office staff with boiling, chilled and sparkling water.
